A proposed ebuild can be found under attachment 79112 [details].
I added ebuild to portage of gentoo.de - have a lot of fun! Created attachment 83012 [details] hdapsd-20060322 ebuild This version of hdapsd includes better accelleration/slow movement detection. For information look at the mailinglist http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/forum.php?forum=hdaps-devel for Shem's patches. I have tried hdapsd-20060322.ebuild, it works for me, but /etc/init.d/hdaps failes to start if I compile hdaps kernel module into the kernel, not as a module. Created attachment 85561 [details]
hdapsd-20060409 ebuild
I've attached a new ebuild for this program based on the 20060409 release.
The init.d and conf.d scripts have been modified as well, adding support for enabling adaptive mode and also an option to control whether the module should be loaded or not.
I'll take this one hdapsd-20060409 is now in the tree - thanks for the ebuild and init script. They have been tweaked slightly though :) We've included the 2.6.17 kernel patch for parking the heads - you can apply this patch by doing emerge --config hdapsd Oh yeah, next time attach ebuilds and init script as plain text files and don't put tbz files into bugzie - thanks |
