Another case of being too close to this one to be fair to judge it, but I can say that other arch's have already gone stable and we haven't seen any new bugs as a result (nothing more than the usual "i have -j12, why doesn't it build right on my 300mhz cpu?"). That and 5.8.8 is about to be released upstream, so I'm embarrassed I haven't asked for my primary arch to unmask it yet ;)
