Hi, here is an ebuild for Classic Doom 3, which is a mod for Doom 3 to play the
levels from the "Knee-Deep in the Dead" episode of Doom 1. It includes remixes
of the Doom 1 music.
It does not require any Doom 1 files.
Where has cdoom.png come from? What is its licence? What is its download URL?
hm...
it is just converted .ico file...
while i'm still not sure about cdoom's license i think we can put cdoom.png on
mirrors.

doom3-cdoom-1.ebuild
This ebuild extracts the .png file from the .ico file using the "icoutils"
package.
Games herd: Is this a good practice, or is it overkill? :)
well ... you can convert icon with imagemagick also .. and with others programs
...
but i haven't seen any ebuild which uses such approach ... usually we just have
separate png file
Having games ebuilds depend on some icon-converting utility to build is
definitely not preferred.
I added the filefront thirdpartymirrors
I am currently installing this on my main dev box and hope to have it in the
tree this evening.
Added to CVS... thanks for the bug report and the ebuild...
