Yeap, i had this bug before. I guess you have an AMD K6 - [1||2||3] an a CFLAGS="...-march=k6" or similar! To solve this problem, you only need to set CFLAGS="-march=i586 ..." and then everything works fine! bugfixed ebuild that solves this bug on k6, k6-2, k6-3 arch.
Hi,
this is my bugfix to this problem. I used the inherit flag-o-matic to replace
the -march=k6(-2,-3) options with the -march=i586 option. This solves this bug
on my k6 an k6-2 machine!
