------- Comment #2 From Marcelo Goes 2006-01-15 16:43:26 0000 -------
I just ran ``included_headers.sh``, and I got:

Headers ignored because they weren't found:

$ac_header
ac_nonexistent.h
float.h
stdarg.h

Absolute headers:

sys-libs/glibc-2.3.6-r2
x11-proto/xproto-7.0.4
x11-libs/libX11-1.0.0
x11-libs/libXt-1.0.0

Hence, the question:
Are libICE and libSM really required?

------- Comment #3 From Keri Harris 2006-01-15 22:09:12 0000 -------
My bad. They're not required; they're only pulled in conditionally for the
legacy Xt/Xaw framework.

------- Comment #4 From Marcelo Goes 2006-01-16 06:48:22 0000 -------
Thanks, in cvs.

------- Comment #5 From Jakub Moc (RETIRED) 2006-07-16 04:46:34 0000 -------
1.44 needs to go stable for modular X. Recycling this bug for stabilization.
Thanks.

ppc stable

1) emerges fine, with and without USE flag X (latter without gifview, this
seems to happen on purpose).

2) no test is started

3) all three tools work, two tools respectively
