donnie@supernova ~ $ qfile /usr/bin/pscan
sci-biology/emboss (/usr/bin/pscan)
I can see reason for having both packages...
The question is, which of us should rename their pscan?
Mine might make sense as printf-scan.

This sounds good to me, as changing the EMBOSS program would require patching
quite a bit of documentation (and user's scripts would break).
Robin:
If you are still on vacation, I can fix it myself if you like.
Robin:
I will need this fixed to stabilise emboss 3.0.0-r1. Are you OK with the
proposed fix?
Robin:
Since I got no answer and this is pretty trivial, I decided to fix it myself. I
hope this is ok with you.
*whacks bugzilla*
I'm sanely sure I commented on this, but it was around the time that jforman
was doing stuff with bugzie.
No objections to pscan being changed, but put a [R]DEP in emboss of:
!<pscan-oldver
To ensure it gets upgraded if it is present.
Done. Thanks for the hint.
