Karol 'reb' Pasternak <reb@bsiC.ws> will be joining us for revamping (possibly with my help) the Gentoo/OpenBSD project. I am his current mentor, quiz should reach recruiters in a few minutes. He's from Koszalin, Poland. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
Of course, usual treatment for new devs joining gentoo-alt: no gentoo-x86 access until actually needed. Access has to be available to gentoo-alt svn, bsd-porting branch of baselayout svn and to gentoo cvs (for project space). I don'tremember the infra details that Pylon told me, but there was already a group that had this kind of access.
Well, we're a month late already... Karol: Come ping me on IRC so that we can talk about your quiz.
Ok, mail is sent, so i can close this bug :-)
Dear Karol, Possible retirement pending as you haven't shown any activity in the past two months. - Last (viewable) bugzilla activity: 156986: 2007-06-09 16:57:33 - Last CVS activity: Mon Jun 18 06:40:33 UTC 2007 If you are just away, then please use the devaway system. Please be advised that devaway may also be considered inactive if it extends past 60 days. Please reply and advise on your situation. Any developer found to be inactive for a period in excess of 60 days is subject to be retired. Please be aware that if we have not heard from you within 2 weeks time, we will begin the retirement process. If we do retire you, it's pretty easy to come back when you are ready. Just do the ebuild/end-quiz again and you're back on.
Hi, at first i wanna apologize for my neglect. My devaway said: "vacation... brb in september". After vacations i had move to new city and started new (first) job. I had trail period and i have no time for anything else... Starting with tomorrow i will delete my (not actual) devaway and get to work. Now i have some good machines to work in job:) Thanks for your patience Karol

Thanks!
Karol informed me a while ago that he has little time for Gentoo and that he feels it's time for him to move on. He just asked for some time to pack things and do other stuff. This deadline has passed a few weeks ago. His mail was in Polish so I couldn't really forward it to retirement@gentoo.org. Infra, please process Karol's retirement.
Infrastructure side of retirement has been processed. Sorry for the delay.
No forums account as far as I can tell.
