Provides wrapper for ALSA library. Requires media-libs/alsa-lib. Some programs,
esp music players are starting to use ALSA and require this module (eg. MusicBox
for ROX). Never done a python ebuild before, so please review prior to commit. I
left virtual/python out of DEPEND since it appears to be pulled in by the
distutils eclass. Hope that's the right way to do it. Thx
3 months no action. I'm not a dev, so can't fix.

pyalsaaudio-0.2.ebuild compiles fine on my amd64 system
Created an attachment (id=93240) [details]
dev-python/pyalsaaudio-0.2-r1.ebuild
Cleaned up the ebuild a bit. Also added a check for SND_SUPPORT_OLD_API. I'm
not sure this is the right way to go about this but I've added it in anyway.
Please let me know what you think. I've addded a brief overview of my thoughts
on this as comments in the file.
In the tree now, thanks for the ebuild!

The ebuild works fine on my amd64 system, if I put it in package.keywords.
Since there is another success report for amd64 in comment #6, can someone add
amd64 to the KEYWORD list of that ebuild?
Thank you very much in advance!
