I have now commited the ebuild as testing. I don't have an omnibook, so i
cannot
test it.
I removed the automatic module loading from the ebuild. It is not gentoo-style
to do such things automatically. The user should decide if he want's to have
the
module in modules.autoload.

patch to omnibook ebuild

The ebuild in the CVS has "odoc" which should probably be "dodoc". (error
seeding?)

The attached patch also adds "die" if the make fails.

Mikko: Thanks, applied your patch.

Well there is a new version of the module. I am sending the ebuild for it (I am
using it and it works ok).
Also i changed the ebuild so that the module is not installed in
/lib/modules/${KV}/kernel/drivers/char because that directory is deleted
