Should work if you recompile poppler with USE="qt". if you sync now and try again the ebuild should exit with a meaningful error, can you try? I should've figured that out by myself, but it was already late. :)
Anyhow, your fix works fine:
root@uranus:/home/tittel# emerge kpdf
>>> emerge (1 of 1) kde-base/kpdf-3.5.0 to /
[...]

Afer recompiling poppler with Qt support, kpdf merges fine. Thank you for
fixing, I think we can close this now.

When I fixing ebuild and run ebuild digest, it merge clean. Please fix this in newest portage tree. |
