Hi, when i emerge linphone i see this warning into the configure :
configure: WARNING: Could not find ilbc headers or libs. Please install ilbc
package from http://www.linphone.org if you want iLBC codec support in linphone.

I chicked what was ilbc and it looks like it "a FREE speech codec suitable for
robust voice communication over IP. The codec is designed for narrow band speech
and results in a payload bit rate of 13.33 kbit/s with an encoding frame length
of 30 ms and 15.20 kbps with an encoding length of 20 ms" (taken from
http://www.ilbcfreeware.org/)

looks like there is a version for linphone (maybe it is just a packaging made by
linphone guys)

Why not add the support of this codec into linphone ? i guess a new ebuild
should be created, but since linphone warn about it, i guess the one who did its
ebuild should know about it and have a reason to not have made an ebuild for it,
so i prefer to discuss about it like a linphone bug :]
