Description Yuri Vasilevski (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-10-18 15:45:50 UTC
app-text/acroread should depend on virtual/libstdc++5, else it won't work
on gcc-3.4.x systems like mine:

Please see Bug #84961 for details (specially Comment #17).

Yuri.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
Comment 1 Stefan Schweizer (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-11-03 11:10:35 UTC
There is no virtual yet to depend on :(

We cannot commit it yet, because the DEPEND cannot be satisfied on x86 stable.

PLease REOPEN when the virtual is available
Comment 2 Yuri Vasilevski (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-05-26 14:07:34 UTC
Hi,

The virtual is finally there and today there was an e-mail[1] sent to gentoo-dev ml about this issue (that reminded me about this bug :-) ). The correct virtual name is =virtual/libstdc++-3.3

Also please remove virtual/libc from RDEPEND to make the ebuild cleaner ;-)

Thanks,
Yuri.

Comment 3 Stefan Schweizer (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-06-01 11:30:08 UTC
Thanks, I committed this with ~virtual/libstdc++-3.3 to make sure I even catch a possible -r1 :)
Comment 4 Thomas R. (TRauMa) 2006-06-03 07:47:30 UTC
*cough*, could you put this dep into !amd64, please? :-)
