Description:   Opened: 2005-10-18 14:08 0000
after 26 hours of compiling, "emerge abiword" failed because "popt.h" was not
installed. Just now emerging it to see if that cures it. popt seems not to be in
the dependencies of abiword. another 2 days to verify this...

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. install portage 2005.1 and a snapshot from begin of october on a blank disc
2. do not emerge sync && emerge -Dpvu world (as there is no network on the old
laptop)
3. get and provide all files that are listed by "emerge -pv abiword"
4. emerge abiword

Actual Results:
abiword is getting compiled. compilation stops with error "file popt.h" missing.

Expected Results:
abiword should compile successfully.

Gnome team, once you have verified and resolved this, feel free to assign it to
release@gentoo.org, so we can be sure that it ends up fixed in the next release.

Actually, nevermind. This doesn't have anything to do with the actual release
materials. I was thinking this was a GRP problem.

Thanks for the report. This is fixed now in abiword-2.2.11.ebuild.
