Here are updated ebuilds for the vips and nip2 packages (media-libs/vips and
media-gfx/nip2) for the latest 7.10.14 release. The vips ebuild is the same as
the previous one, but the nip2 ebuild adds mime database and desktop
configuration to add nip2 and its icon to the gnome applications menu and add
the vips format as a mime type.

when can we finally use vips? Please include this ebuild in portage because
there are big improvements between the version currently stable and this latest one.

vips bumped to 7.10.17. No need to attach an ebuild if you just renamed it :-).

Bumped nip2 to 7.10.16 in cvs, but not verbatim.

Also, I didn't add mime stuff/icons/desktop entry, because I frankly do not
understand enough about it (so either someone else can have a look at it, or
I'll have to learn about it first).
