The attached patch for gnome-vfs-2.10.1-r2 allows Trash to display ts contents Andrews File System (AFS) properly. Gnome-vfs explicitly hard-codes the rule to not show the contents of Trash on Andrews File System. Thus, Trash accepts files, but nautilus does not show anything at "trash:". All deleted files can be found in "~/.Trash", however. This is very inconvenient for users with home directories in an AFS space. The attached, simply enables the use of Trash on Andrews File System. gnome-vfs-2.10.1-afs-trash.patch
Patch to show contents of Trash on AFS.
This upstream here: http://bugs.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=157260 although it looks like there's no reason for it not to be applied. I've added the patch to gnome-vfs-2.12.0 in CVS. _Please_ report any problems to this bug, so that we can pass them upstream.
