dnsproxy daemon is a djbdns-friendly proxy for DNS queries, possibly useful for other purposes. with it, you can run tinydns and cachedns on the same host (that is, same IP addr.). it's a BAD idea IMO, but sometimes you have to do it, and you don't like BIND. The ebuild has been imported from sunrise overlay as net-proxy/dnsproxy-1.15. I've cleaned up a bit, especially init.d and conf.d files. Please remove the package from the sunrise tree.
