Annoying bugs in 1.8 mean an 1.8.1 should be out soon. This bug tracks what
should be fixed before it's released :

Bug 102247 : strange network starting problems
Bug 102985 : executables are not preserved in root_overlay
Bug 103004 : extensions clear ownership of directories
Bug 102871 : OpenVPN security fix

- Doc might need to be fixed if bug 103318 is done
- If touched, doc should be fixed according to bug 102697
- Also maybe wait for the right kernel stable...
