Please fix the following and reopen:
* LICENSE is invalid.
* inherit should be at the top, just below the header.
* Kill the S=
* ${A}, ${S}, ${FILESDIR} should be quoted.
* Is einstall needed? If it is, include a comment saying how make DESTDIR="${D}"
install fails.
Thanks again for taking a look. Some of the issues that you raise
are the default setup from abeni.
Everything fixed.
I will look at my other ebuilds to see if I can keep ahead of you.
kindest regards
tim
One tiny little thing... Quotes on the ${D} too. I realise there're a fair
number of packages in the tree that don't do this currently, but I'd rather that
that wasn't used as a reason to add more. Thanks.
I caught the quotes around the ${D} and was probably loading a new ebuild
as you were drafting your note.
Thanks again!
Hi Tim,
Thanks for your ebuilds and I'd like to get this package into portage in the
near future. Looks like gerris is currently at 0.8.0. Have you tried your ebuild on
this version already? Also, gerris should probably be sci-libs/gerris as opposed
to sci-geosciences/gerris.
Thanks,
Markus
Markus,
Sorry, missed the upgrade. See new ebuild for 0.8.
Putting it into sci-libs is fine with me and I changed the subject to show this.
Also am updating gfsview to gfsview-0.4. See
http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=102325
Thanks
Hi Tim,
Thank you very much for the ebuild! gerris-0.8.0 has just been added to
portage with a few minor changes to your suggested ebuild (mostly in DEPEND).
best,
Markus
