There is another workaround: - Set NBCARDS=1 (any number < 2 will do I guess) - Configure the network cards you want started in /etc/conf.d/net Hmm. Apparently there is something broken in the livecd/rcadd thing (used to work). The current specs contain : livecd/rcadd: net.eth0:default So they should run net.eth0 by default in all cases. OK, this is bug 98165. The rcadd/rcdel lines now need to be written like this : livecd/rcadd: net.eth0|default This will need some doc fixes. For the net-agent thing, its removal will be added to fsscript. Fix in CVS, Doc needs to be updated. Fixed in 1.8.1 release |
