i have both sqlite 2.8.16 and sqlite-3.2.2 installed but they have files that overwrite each other:

aaar pkg # fgrep -r /usr/bin/lemon * 
dev-db/sqlite-2.8.16-r1/CONTENTS:obj /usr/bin/lemon e52091296c976b755e5cfa4c9153c889

dev-db/sqlite-3.2.2/CONTENTS:obj /usr/bin/lemon 7217e9a3ca975504e7173708d73eacf8 1121711508

ideally they should not overwrite each other's files.

Seems the two are the same version so it doesn't seem to be that big of a deal.
But I think there still needs to be something done about this.

sqlite-3.2.7-r1 and sqlite-2.8.16-r2 now plays nicely.
