<thetext>I've just bumped net-wireless/ipw2200 to version 1.0.5, which has the ieee80211 subsystem split out (it used to be part of the driver itself). This introduced a new dependency, net-wireless/ieee80211, which forced me to drop the ~amd64 keyword.

Please test net-wireless/ipw2200-1.0.5 and net-wireless/ieee80211-1.0.1 on AMD64 and keyword accordingly.</thetext>

<thetext>net-wireless/ieee80211-1.0.1 had compile warnings on 64bit archs, this has been
fixed in net-wireless/ieee80211-1.0.2 by upstream.

Please test net-wireless/ipw2200-1.0.6 and net-wireless/ieee80211-1.0.2 on AMD64
and keyword accordingly.</thetext>
