            <thetext>launching alsaconf detect all modules but the choice of module which is not
legacy fail because dialog send the menu choice on the error output channel !

Steps to Reproduce:
1. launch alsaconf
2. choose a choice in the menu which is not legacy
3.

Actual Results:  
All the procedure fail because the module cannot be found

Expected Results:  
Install, load and configure the good module</thetext>

            <thetext>Same problem on my machine and the fix in comment #1 (attachment 61450 - although i did it manually, not with patch) worked.
Could this patch be included in the next release of alsa-utils ? or could the problem be investigated to see whether that&apos;s necessary?</thetext>
