Therefore I need a /lib/ rcscripts/addons/raid-stop.sh to shut raid arrays down. Attached is an extremely simple proposal which calls mdadm -Ss (Stop devices scanning config files for information about what to stop) if mdadm is present. The part for raidtools is missing as I don't use raidtools.
