<thetext>All audacity versions should depend on =x11-libs/wxGTK-2.4*
Upstream has not ported it to wxGTK-2.6.0.

Users can simply emerge wxGTK-2.4* until the depends are fixed, since wxGTK now uses SLOTs</thetext>

<thetext>Thanks, updated dependencies.. hmm I should join wxwindows herd sooner or later :)

What about adding compatibility with wxWidgets 2.2 in 2.6 so that audacity can work with latest version? I'm afraid that vlc has the same problem.</thetext>

            <thetext>Thanks Diego,

What do you mean by adding compatibility? I don't think it'll be trivial porting audacity from 2.4 to 2.6 and looking at their cvs activity it looks like they have lost all steam :~( I'll find you on irc to talk about vlc etc.</thetext>
