<thetext>Hm, this only happens with tetex-3.0-r1 (not with tetex-3.0), and AFAIK -r1 doesn't include any changes from the teTeX CVS. Let's see.

Are you saying that -r2 will be in Portage in about an hour?</thetext>

<thetext>No. I didn't increment its revision because it only fixes
build time error. The updated tetex-3.0-r1.ebuild has

# Copyright 1999-2005 Gentoo Foundation
# Distributed under the terms of the GNU General Public License v2
# $Header: /var/cvsroot/gentoo-x86/app-text/tetex/tetex-3.0-r1.ebuild,v 1.2 2005
/02/12 15:24:20 usata Exp $

in its header (v1.2). I guess you have v1.1 in /usr/portage,
and v1.2 will be available within an hour. I think if you
remerge tetex-3.0, it will also show the same error.
(the sandbox violation doesn't occur with fresh install,
but may occur with upgrade or reinstall)</thetext>

<thetext>Obviously, you spoke about the Portage CVS and not about the teTeX CVS :-) The problem has disappeared now. Thank you for your quick reaction!

<thetext>I don't know, but I get the following output (other access-violations): If they are related, then this bug should IMHO become reopened.
I did an emerge sync a few minutes ago to get the updated ebuild.
