What's New in GnuCash 1.8.11?
o Business invoices: Properly accumulate splits (bug #165053)
o Fix backup file naming; now existing files will no longer be accidentally overwritten (bug #164875)
o HBCI: enable debit notes again
o HBCI initialization problems fixed
o Fix the last-day-of-month computation for leap years.
=== snap ===

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.
2.
3.

renaming the ebuild gnucash-1.8.10.ebuild compiles well. I didn't have any issues running gnucash; I didn't
