It works (with some tweaks though) but i didn't found any special features in amyedit. Just an opinion, could you convince me to add it to portage? I'm not out on a mission to get everyone to use a particular piece of software, I filled this bug because it is a software package I find useful, others clearly find useful(due to it's development), and therefore it shoukd be accessible by users. If you are truely interestested, I like it because it is GTK based, supports tabbed windows, is NOT WYSIWYG (or WYSIWYM), allows for quick previews, offers a word count, offer spell check, has syntax highlighting, and is extremely light weight. pclouds@gentoo.org 2005-03-15 03:19:22 0000 Added 0.8.
