I renamed allegro-4.1.17.ebuild to allegro-4.1.18.ebuild and ran an emerge/emerge digest/emerge, then tested it with the code I'm working on and it looks fine. Latest unmasked version is the allegro-4.0.3.ebuild 'stable' version so this will only affect those running ~x86 or developing for allegro. Thanks.
