<thetext>hardened-dev-sources 2.6.10-r3 and gentoo-dev-sources-2.6.10-r6 give a segmentation fault when I mount a drbd device,

hardened-dev-sources 2.6.10-r1 and hardened-dev-sources-2.6.7-r16 works fine</thetext>

            <thetext>you are right

I've a cluster with 2.6.9-gentoo-r9 and drbd 0.7.7 that works as expected, but it doesn't work well on a 2.6.10-gentoo-r6

keep posted ...I'll investigate</thetext>

<thetext>drbd 0.7.8 + 2.6.10 vanilla seems to be stable (no crash after a bonnie++ stress test) ...but it seems that drbd is affected by a recent semantic change in the bio handling (2.6.10-ac10 and up).
The author is working on a patch.

So you can use drbd 0.7.7/0.7.8 with vanilla 2.6.10 or you can wait the patch/new release.
