My scripts were working fine in 2.6 and were no longer recognized after the upgrade, nor did they work in a freshly installed Gentoo OS with Nautilus 2.8.2. If there is a subdirectory in the nautilus-scripts folder, then nautilus will display the "Scripts" menu item and will show the subdirectory in the menu, but will not show any of the executable scripts in the top-level scripts directory or any of the subdirectories. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Put an executable file in the folder "~/.gnome2/nautilus-scripts". 2. Check the File menu in Nautilus. Actual Results: There is no "Scripts" menu item. Expected Results: There should be a "Scripts" menu item with the name of the script in a submenu.
