            <thetext>I can verify that scim-0.99.8 and scim-chinses-0.4.2 compile and work on my G5 system running 2004.2 ppc64 under gnome 2.6.0/2, but not under kde 3.3. My kde has some weird issues, i&apos;ll reinstall it soon, and see if scim also works there.</thetext>
