The bigger issue though is that the tarball that is grabbed off of sourceforge is corrupted and can't be uncompressed. I can either pursue this further, or you can give it a shot and reattach/post. I tried downloading the tarball directly outside of the ebuild and couldn't open it. Will investigate further and get it working and added. Probably take me a day or so. I've added it to portage under net-mail/abook, masked until further testing occurs (or it finds a better home - not sure about net-mail as a home for it).
