            <thetext>After portage configures xforms-1.0_r with gcc-3.2 and the flag -
march=pentium3, I noticed that the &quot;-march&quot; flag is not being passed during 
compile time.  I have verified my make.conf and make.conf.build, the flag is in 
there.  This is not a critical issue, but it would be nice to know xforms 
libraries were fully optimized when this gets unmasked.</thetext>
