            <thetext>faac-1.24 is out. Visible enhancements are a new CLI interface and
mp4 metadata support (a really useful feature to use the iPod with Linux)

Reproducible: Always

            <thetext>You can create an ebuild by simply renaming faac-1.23.5.ebuild to
faac-1.24.ebuild. There are two problems however:
1) You cannot emerge it successfully because of bug# 55767
2) It gives a worning saying:
 * Patching ${S}/ltmain.sh...
 *   Could not apply portage.patch!
 * Please verify that it is not needed.
 * Cannot apply any patch, running libtoolize...
The second problem seems only cosmetic. I have encoded a couple of CDs without
any issue.
