<thetext>Hi!

My scanner (CanoScan FB620P => sane canon_pp) didn't work under gentoo (but under debian).
I saw, that gentoo use libieee1284-0.2.1 and debian libieee1284.0.2.8.

The problem is that canon-parport-scanner (especially all devices that use the canon_pp) doesn't work under gentoo. But with a new libieee1284 version the scanner works fine.
So I wrote (I never wrote a ebuild bevor. I use the old ebuild from 0.2.1) a libieee1284-0.2.8.ebuild.
