            <thetext>It seemed more like the bug was about m4a support, that was only supported with the xine backed earlier. 
M4a works with the gstreamer backend now.</thetext>

            <thetext>Made ebuild for Rhythmbox 0.8.5 by copying the 0.8.3 one.  Using gst-plugins-0.8.2, everything works dandy with m4a files.</thetext>

            <thetext>Are we going to see a version bump in gentoo anytime soon for rhythmbox?  It&apos;s still at 0.8.3, and now 0.8.5 is apparently available.........waiting for m4a support.......it&apos;d be nice to have it in gentoo natively rather than having to do it by hand.</thetext>
