The texhash command needs to be run after installing dvipost so that tetex can see and use it. It is probably a good idea to also run this after an unmerge. pkg_postinst() { exec texhash } pkg_postrm() { exec texhash } Without these commands being run by the ebuild a user would need to run texhash as root for tetex to see and be able to use dvipost.
