==========

My first thought on looking at the errors that it is not finding some gtk/gimp
thing, but I have the latest and greatest GTK+2, GTK+1 and both branches of GIMP
installed.</thetext>

            <thetext>first of all, try lowering your CFLAGS.

The gimp plugin is not useful anymore, we should probably disable building it.</thetext>

thanks for the report.</thetext>
