<thetext>After upgrading to kde-3.1.3 kmplayer no longer works. From konsole:

The kde crash handler window comes up and under the "backtrace tab I get:

<thetext>I noticed this when upgrading to KDE 3.1.4 - kmplayer would no longer startup
at all, with the same error that's reported here.
I tried re-emerging media-video/mplayer and then media-video/kmplayer, and
this seems to have fixed the problem. I got a warning that the digests of
two files (font-arial-iso-8859-1.tar.bz2 and font-arial-iso-8859-2.tar.bz2
in /usr/portage/distfiles) didn't match the stored digests and so I deleted
these and allowed portage to download them again.
Hope this helps!</thetext>
