While building under Gentoo i get the following error... "No write permission to lock perm!=?" Gentoo's maintainers did not set up the permisions settings correctly for the 0.7.1 ebuild files. Make sure you are in the group "games". Also as root do: chmod -R g=rwx /usr/games/lib/noegnud-0.7.1/ Even better: get the new "noeGNUd"-Release and compile it without portage.
