            <thetext>I&apos;ve put in an -r1 ebuild of nvi that resolves the db4 issue, but in doing so I have found the package has a lot more problems with the current glibc.

            <thetext>yakina: your patch seems to resolve all of the issues, i&apos;ve tested and commited now. what I took for glibc errors was just db weirdness on a db-4.1 system.</thetext>
