dclib-0.3.18-HASH_SIZE.patch

Apparently it was an oversight in a substitution of BLOCK_SIZE for HASH_SIZE. The HASH_SIZE reference is still present in 0.3.19, so upstream might be interested in this patch.</thetext>

            <thetext>Of course the patch I attached on its own wouldn't be enough to fix the configure problem that makes PPC to be a big-endian arch:

#if defined(__x86_64__) || defined(__alpha)
#define TIGER_ARCH64
#endif
#if !(defined(__i386__) || defined(__x86_64__) || defined(__alpha))
#define TIGER_BIG_ENDIAN

Obviously these tests do not suffice, and ideally shouldn't be in this file at all.</thetext>

            <thetext>The dclib-0.3.18-HASH_SIZE.patch is incorrect, HASH_SIZE was replaced with BYTES everywhere else in the DC++ source code but they missed a bit.

64-bit and big endian are detected by autoconf in 0.3.20 which I assume detects them correctly. However, the optimized 64-bit code is not enabled if big endian, because nobody knows if it works or if it is faster.

Here is a hashing test program, intended for performance, but also checks the result is correct:
http://wxdcgui.sourceforge.net/hashing-test.cpp

There doesn't appear to be any useful information in the backtrace. One possible explanation: the build systems for dclib and valknut-qt4 (0.4.X) were re-written, but valknut-qt3 (0.3.X) still uses the old build system from KDE3. Please try re-compiling dclib with the same compiler flags valknut-qt3 used.

valknut no longer has --with-ssl, only dclib can be compiled with either --enable-ssl (default) or --disable-ssl
--with-libdc was removed and pkg-config is used instead.</thetext>
