            <thetext>bitpim 1.0.5 refused to start. After running in debug mode and referencing the developer website at the above URL it seems the ebuild should depend on =dev-python/apsw-3.3.13.1

After emerging apsw, bitpim worked fine.</thetext>

Are you saying that bitpim dependency on sqlite is not optional?</thetext>

            <thetext>Since the page don&apos;t specify this dependency as optional, I will assume that now is mandatory.
