            <thetext>Based on http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-p-5079556.html#5079556 using MAKEOPTS=&quot;-j2&quot; or MAKEOPTS=&quot;-j1&quot; works on my system. I don&apos;t have others to test on, but this suggests to me that it&apos;s a problem when using more processes than cores. I also don&apos;t know enough about how ebuilds work to be able to offer a fix.</thetext>
