            <thetext>fbiterm has some problems with fonts:
- it build-time depends on unifont, yet it doesn&apos;t seem to use it until it&apos;s installed;
- the patch that sets the font paths for Gentoo still uses the old /usr/X11R6 prefix that we&apos;re not using anymore;
- the package installing 8x16.pcf is not depended upon (it&apos;s not unifont);
- the default font points to /usr/local.
