What previously was just dev-lang/ghc-6.4.2 and dev-lang/ghc-6.6.1 has been split up into several smaller modules, and modeled as many packages in portage. To properly stabilize ghc-6.8.2 we need to stabilize all those, and test it properly with the other packages in portage. We'll let you know when it's time.
