a) compile-test only OR b) pick something from the examples, copy to /root, customize for your IO devices, run - be careful that some of them are designed to write to raw devices for IO testing.

1.17.2 is identical to 1.17 with the exception of support for newer and older kernels than the original 1.17.</thetext>
