Please consider, stable icc-9* are buggy. fauli@gentoo.org 2007-11-07 07:08:23 0000 x86 stable mlangc@gmx.at 2007-11-08 02:51:11 0000 on amd64: dev-lang/icc-10.0.026 seems to be fine for me. it compiles app-portage/gatt-svn-9999 and even pointed out a little sloppiness in the source that was not detected by "g++ -Wall -Wextra -Winit-self -Wconversion -Wredundant-decls". on the other hand side, it also prints out two warnings that are obviously wrong (at least for me as i'm quite familiar with the code) but that's cosmetics i guess. summarizing, its very good to see an alternative c/c++ compiler to be actively maintained in portage.
