<thetext>guile-1.8 has been recently stabilized. The versions of gwave in portage don't build anymore against guile-1.8.

On the homepage of gwave there is a new version called gwave2-20070514 which compiles with guile-1.8:

<thetext>This is really good news. Thanks for reporting it. I will look into it ASAP.

<thetext>I have just committed the new version. I had to take ~amd64 out of the arch list though, as guile-gnome-platform doesn't work on it yet. There seems to be a fix for this somewhere so all is not lost. I'll add ~amd64 to the list again once this is sorted out.

I have also fixed the --as-needed issue instead of filtering it.

And ~amd64 was removed again because it doesn't work really well. Sorry for the inconvenience.
