<thetext>Please keyword app-admin/eselect-vdr-0.0.2 ~ppc.

This is needed, as we want to split some functionality out of vdr-plugin.eclass, which is used by some ebuilds that are also ~ppc keyworded.
Before having this keyword we cannot add DEPEND="select-vdr" to eclass.</thetext>

            <thetext>You need not test if vdr works then, just do this (you can do this WITHOUT any additional hardware).

Testcase:
emerge eselect-vdr
USE="setup" emerge vdr vdr-setup

then test
eselect vdr-plugin enable setup
eselect vdr-plugin disable setup

That should add/remove a line with setup from /etc/conf.d/vdr.plugins

You also can keyword some other plugin from media-plugins/vdr-* and test with this.
